I watch a little madly
while I die inside
With the emptiness you fed me
Like a child I scream and cry
Oh the Aching Tree is dawning
and its swollen fruits are falling
The seeds it's planting
my life it's tearing overbearing
A victim to life's indignation
From it's pain I cannot Hide
A scornful reminder
of how a heart can die
Oh the aching tree keeps growing
her power so consuming
self producing, now its breathing
on to me collapsing
the aching tree
the decease that breeds
that feeds the decease in me
The trembling enhanses
the carion now calls
You built me a house of a loathing
using the deceits to raise its walls
Oh the aching tree is haunting
its shallow falls wide and gaping
Its hatred raging contaminating
Yet I keep it growing
the aching tree....
